The Refersion Marketplace is a network bringing together our affiliate partners and merchants looking to work with them. Merchants working with Refersion can post their offers into the Marketplace, and affiliates can create a free Marketplace account to search for programs that make sense for their audience and strategies.

How Do I Sign Up for a Refersion Marketplace Account?

It’s easy! There are a few steps in the process that you’ll be walked through, each of which is explained in detail below. Get started by visiting this link.

Step 1: Login Details

First you will provide your full name, email and password. Please note that your password must be a minimum of 9 characters and must contain at least 1 uppercase letter, 1 lowercase letter, 1 number, and 1 special character. You’ll need to review and agree to Refersion’s Terms of Service before clicking Register Now.

Step 2: Email Confirmation

Next you will receive an email asking you to confirm your email address. Click Confirm Email to continue.

Step 3: Tell Us More About Yourself

You will then be asked to fill out some basic information about yourself, including the following:

  • Address and Contact Information (Note that we'll send a verification code to confirm your mobile phone number. Message and data rates may apply)

  • The types of products or merchants you’re interested in promoting

  • Primary website and social channels that you will use to promote

  • The types of strategies you will use to promote

Collecting this information is a key step towards helping members of the Marketplace find appropriate merchants to work with, and vice versa! This also helps us screen for fraudulent or inappropriate applicants, making sure the Marketplace is a beneficial community for all.

Step 4: Phone Confirmation

Next you will need to confirm your mobile phone number using a 6-digit verification code, which will be texted to you.

Please Note: If you elect to use a VoIP phone number for your Marketplace account, then please confirm that phone number can receive SMS text messages before submitting it. If the number does not support SMS, then you'll need to use a mobile phone number provided by a mobile phone carrier.

Enter the 6-digit code and click Submit! to proceed.

Step 5: Approval Process

Upon confirming your phone number, you will be logged into your Refersion Marketplace account and will be able to review and edit your account settings and information while the Refersion team reviews your application. A member of the Refersion team may also contact you by email to request more information regarding your application if needed.

Please note that it may take up to 3 business days for our team to review your application (though it’s usually faster!).

Step 6: Start Promoting and Earning Commission!

Once approved, you will be able to log in to your Refersion Marketplace account using the email address and password you signed up with. From there you can start discovering brands and their products and applying to join individual brands' affiliate programs. Everything you need (referral links, banner ads, coupon codes, etc) to promote brands will be accessible from your Marketplace Dashboard.

We also recommend checking out the For Affiliates section of our Help Center, which has plenty of how-to guides, video walkthroughs, and best practices.

Why might I be rejected from the Refersion Marketplace?

Each Marketplace application is individually reviewed by the Refersion team. There are a number of verification steps we utilize, but some of the most common reasons for an application to be rejected are:

  • We are unable to authenticate your personal information (name and address)

  • We were unable to find proof of your ownership of the website or social media handles submitted

  • The website URL that you provided is not live

  • You did not provide clear details about your past or planned promotion methods

  • Your site and/or social channels contain inappropriate or offensive content

If you have any questions, either about or during the process, please feel free to contact us at [email protected].
