Once an affiliate or influencer joins your network, they’ll have permission to represent your brand. Before you enter into that agreement, make sure you’re all on the same page. Set clear program terms and conditions, and establish a privacy policy that makes sense for you.
This information will appear on your affiliate registration page, and you can update it anytime. You can also include links and images for both your program terms and privacy policy.
Step 1. Go to Settings>Policies:
Step 2. Enter your Program Terms & Conditions
(examples: payment terms & schedule, self-dealing, promotion restrictions, product category exclusions, disqualifiers).
Step 3. Enter your Privacy Policy
Note: In compliance with data protection regulations like the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) make sure your policy discloses the ways your business uses personal data collected from affiliates, along with how their data is processed, managed, and for what purposes. We recommend consulting your company's lawyer/legal counsel if you need assistance with this.
Please note that both the program terms and privacy policy fields support basic HTML markup if it makes your input easier. You can also change the formatting to highlight headers and important info throughout. (Some brands go with ALL CAPS, bold and underlined subheadings to make it easier for applicants to scan). You also have the option of adding links and images.
If you’re wondering what to write for either of these sections, we can point you to an example from one of our demo accounts.
