Please Note: Promotion Methods were formally referred to as "Conversion Triggers"
Email promotion methods acts as an additional way to track affiliate-generated sales. When an order comes in through an assigned customer email address, it will automatically be credited to that affiliate. There are several places in Refersion where you can assign email promotion methods, and you can upload them in bulk.
From the My Affiliates tab
Go to Affiliates>My Affiliates and click on the name of the affiliate you'd like to create the email Promotion Method for:
Click Promotion Methods on the right, then click Add Promotion Method:
Choose Email as the Type, enter the customer email address you want to assign, and click Create New Promotion Method.
The newly assigned email will appear in the Promotion Methods view:
From the Overview tab
Go to the Performance>Overview tab and click Add Promotion Method:
Choose the Affiliate you'd like to assign the customer email to. Then select Customer Email under Type, enter the customer email, and click Add Promotion Method.

From the Promotion Methods tab
Go to the Affiliates>Promotion Methods tab and click +Add Promotion Method
Choose the Affiliate you'd like to assign a customer email to. Then select Email under Type, enter the customer email, and click Add Promotion Method.
