Vanity URLs (or vanity links) are typically links that include brand names or clean, everyday words (instead of a string of random characters, letters and numbers). These custom links can improve SEO, CTR, and brand awareness.
You can manually create them for your affiliates from within your Shopify store, and these new links will credit the affiliate just as the original did:
1. Log in to your Shopify store.
2. Click Online Store > Navigation from the left hand navigation pane.
3. Click URL Redirects in the upper right corner.
4. Click the Create URL Redirect button.
5. Enter the Vanity URL into the Redirect from field.
6. Enter the affiliate’s tracking URL into the Redirect to field.
For example, if an affiliate's link is:

7. Click Save redirect.
